Field inspection · BeltLabs
Conveyor inspection software that turns findings into accountable work.
Inspect conveyor belts and components on mobile, preserve field evidence against the right asset, assign severity and ownership, and link the accepted response through to completion.

In the field
A technician measures belt-cover condition and records the finding.
Where the record breaks
Disconnected checklists produce observations without a dependable asset identity, decision owner or linked corrective work. Photos then sit outside the maintenance history.
What changes
BeltLabs keeps the inspection, finding, review decision and resulting work connected so teams can see what was observed and what happened next.
Workflow
One chain of custody from record to result.
Each stage keeps the accountable person, source record and next decision visible. The workflow supports the competent team; it does not replace its technical judgement.
- 01
Confirm context
Start with the site, route, conveyor, operating state, inspector and defined inspection scope.
- 02
Capture usable findings
Record condition, location, severity, notes and photographs with enough context for another person to review.
- 03
Assign the response
Separate the observation from the maintenance decision, then name the owner, action and due date.
- 04
Verify completion
Link work evidence and review status back to the source finding rather than closing it in isolation.
What the workspace holds
The detail stays attached to the work.
BeltLabs connects business records and belt-specific evidence without exposing the whole internal process on the public website.
- Belt surface, edge and splice findings
- Tracking, carryback and loading-zone observations
- Cleaner, idler, pulley and take-up condition
- Severity, operating consequence and owner
- Photos, documents and corrective work
- Inspection history by conveyor and route
Customer-led implementation
Start with one workflow your team can verify.
- 01Choose one critical conveyor route
- 02Set inspection scope and severity definitions
- 03Configure required fields for the field team
- 04Test offline or poor-connectivity operating procedures
- 05Review findings and completion evidence together
Questions
Clear boundaries before you buy.
Can technicians use BeltLabs on a phone?
Yes. The field workflow is designed for web access on mobile devices, including QR-assisted navigation to the controlled conveyor record.
Is this automated visual inspection?
No. BeltLabs is the system of record for inspections performed or reviewed by authorised people. It does not represent itself as a camera or sensor-based defect detection product.
Can an inspection create a work order?
A finding can be connected to corrective work while preserving the distinction between what was observed and what was approved for execution.
