1. Scope, incorporation and contractual status
This Refund Policy (Policy) governs requests for refunds, reversals, credits, rebates, set-offs and other billing adjustments relating to BeltLabs subscriptions and associated services. It is incorporated into and forms part of the BeltLabs Terms of Service. BeltLabs is a product of BeltAxis. References to BeltLabs, we, us or our mean the service operator identified in the applicable order or subscription record. By submitting an order, activating access or continuing to use the service, the customer acknowledges that it has reviewed and accepted this Policy, subject always to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
2. Merchant of record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. The buyer contracts with the applicable Paddle entity for the transaction, while BeltLabs supplies and supports the software service. Paddle's Buyer Terms and Refund Policy govern transaction processing, statutory withdrawal rights and Paddle's administration of any refund. If this Policy conflicts with a mandatory rule or Paddle's controlling buyer terms, that rule or those terms prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.
3. General rule: charges are non-refundable
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, every subscription charge, renewal charge, implementation charge, add-on charge and other amount validly processed is final, non-cancellable, non-refundable and non-creditable once payment has been completed and access to the service has been provisioned. This allocation of commercial risk is an essential basis of the subscription price. A refund is not available merely because the customer changes its mind, ceases using the service, fails to deploy it, does not achieve an anticipated operational or commercial result, purchases an unsuitable plan, overlooks a renewal notice, or no longer requires some or all subscribed capacity.
4. No prorating, credits or retroactive adjustments
Cancellation, downgrade, reduction in users, sites, assets, storage, integrations or usage does not create an entitlement to a pro-rata refund, service credit, account balance, carry-forward, retrospective price adjustment or restitution for any unused portion of a billing period. Plan changes take effect in accordance with the billing interface and applicable Paddle terms. Promotional pricing, discounts and negotiated concessions have no cash value, are non-transferable and cannot be applied retrospectively unless we expressly agree in a written instrument signed by an authorised representative.
5. Cancellation and future renewals
A customer may cancel a subscription through the available billing-management facility. Cancellation operates prospectively at the end of the then-current paid billing period unless Paddle confirms a different effective date. The customer ordinarily retains access until that period ends. Cancellation prevents future renewal charges when completed before the applicable renewal is processed; it does not rescind the original transaction, unwind past renewals or create an entitlement to repayment of charges already incurred.
6. Mandatory legal rights and defects
Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts or purports to waive a statutory guarantee, withdrawal right, cancellation right, refund right or other remedy that applicable law makes non-excludable. Where a qualifying consumer establishes that the service was materially defective, materially misdescribed or not supplied as required by a mandatory consumer-protection regime, the available remedy will be determined under that regime and Paddle's applicable buyer terms. Any remedy is confined to the minimum relief required by law unless Paddle elects to provide additional relief in its discretion.
7. Statutory withdrawal rights
Certain jurisdictions confer time-limited withdrawal rights for digital content or services. Eligibility, duration, exclusions, waiver consequences and the method of exercise vary by location and transaction type. Paddle administers those rights under its Refund Policy. Commencement of performance, access to the service, use of digital functionality or an express request for immediate supply may affect a withdrawal right where applicable law permits. Nothing on this page should be construed as a representation that a withdrawal right exists where it does not, or that a right capable of being waived has been waived without the legally required consent.
8. Discretionary refunds
Paddle may approve, partially approve or decline a discretionary refund in accordance with its own policies and risk controls. The submission of a request does not create a debt, admission, fiduciary obligation, estoppel, precedent or legitimate expectation that relief will be granted. Any voluntary concession is confined to the particular transaction and circumstances for which it is made, is without prejudice to all rights and remedies, and does not oblige BeltLabs or Paddle to grant an equivalent concession in any other matter.
9. Excluded grounds
Without limiting section 3, no refund or credit is ordinarily available for: customer inactivity; incomplete onboarding or data migration; failure to configure integrations; incompatibility with an undisclosed internal system; loss of personnel; budget changes; procurement error; duplicate workspaces created by the customer; failure to cancel before renewal; intermittent degradation that does not constitute a legally actionable defect; suspension arising from non-payment, security risk or breach; third-party service interruption; or a feature request, roadmap expectation, sales forecast or desired workflow that was not expressly incorporated into a signed order.
10. Request procedure and evidentiary requirements
A person seeking a refund must submit the request through Paddle's buyer-support service or the transaction-management link in the Paddle receipt and provide the transaction identifier, purchaser identity, product, date, amount, grounds relied upon and reasonably requested supporting evidence. Requests sent only to a social-media account, sales contact or unrelated inbox do not constitute valid notice to Paddle. BeltLabs may provide Paddle with account, provisioning, access, usage, support and security records reasonably relevant to the request, subject to applicable privacy law.
11. Fraud, abuse and duplicate recovery
A request may be refused, and access may be suspended, where there is reasonable evidence of fraud, refund abuse, material misrepresentation, collusion, unauthorised resale, repeated purchase-and-refund behaviour, manipulation of consumption or an attempt to obtain duplicate recovery through a refund, chargeback, payment reversal, insurer, tax authority or other channel. BeltLabs and Paddle reserve all rights of recoupment, set-off, investigation and recovery available under contract, card-scheme rules and applicable law.
12. Chargebacks and payment disputes
Before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute, the buyer should use Paddle's buyer-support process so the transaction can be identified and assessed. Commencing a chargeback does not itself establish an entitlement to a refund. During an investigation, access may be restricted where permitted by law and the applicable buyer terms. Nothing in this section limits a lawful right to dispute an unauthorised transaction or exercise a non-excludable card-scheme or statutory remedy.
13. Effect of an approved refund
Where a refund is approved, it will ordinarily be returned through the original payment method and administered by Paddle. Unless mandatory law requires otherwise, approval immediately terminates the corresponding licence and entitlement to access, use, download, export or derive further benefit from the refunded service. The customer must cease use and remains responsible for preserving any customer data it is entitled to export before access ends. Refund processing time may depend on Paddle, financial institutions and payment networks.
14. Taxes, exchange rates and banking charges
Any approved refund is subject to the tax treatment, currency, exchange-rate methodology and payment-rail rules applied by Paddle and the relevant financial institution. BeltLabs is not responsible for foreign-exchange movements, intermediary-bank charges, card-issuer fees or differences caused by settlement timing. A tax adjustment does not, of itself, establish a right to refund the underlying subscription charge.
15. Construction, severability and non-waiver
This Policy must be construed to give maximum lawful effect to the non-refund allocation stated above. If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, it is to be read down to the minimum extent necessary and, if it cannot be read down, severed without affecting the remaining provisions. Delay or failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Headings aid navigation only and do not affect interpretation. The singular includes the plural, including is not limiting, and references to law include amendments and replacements.
16. Changes and controlling version
We may amend this Policy prospectively to reflect changes in the service, Paddle requirements or applicable law. The version presented and accepted in connection with the relevant transaction applies subject to any later mandatory legal requirement. Material changes affecting an active subscription will be communicated in accordance with the Terms of Service. Continued use after an amendment takes effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
17. Support and refund requests
For product support or questions about this Policy, contact support@beltaxis.com. To manage a Paddle transaction, cancel a subscription or request a refund, use the link in your Paddle receipt or visit paddle.net. Product support cannot promise, authorise or complete a Paddle refund.
